FTSE 100 Seen Opening Higher After Wall Street Rally

0737 GMT - The FTSE 100 is seen opening higher after U.S. stocks rallied overnight with the tech-heavy Nasdaq leading the gains. "The outperformance in tech appears to point to a growing conviction on the part of investors that the Federal Reserve will soon have to look at cutting rates before the end of the year, although to look at bond markets yesterday, yields also moved higher, as money flowed out of Treasury markets," CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson writes. IG futures data show the FTSE 100 opening 6 points higher. Key data on Tuesday include purchasing managers' index surveys for the eurozone at 0900 GMT, the U.K. at 0930 GMT and the U.S. at 1445 GMT.
