FTSE 100 Seen Falling as Traders Digest UK Jobs Data, Await US Inflation Data

The FTSE 100 is expected to open lower as investors weigh U.K. labor market data and await U.S. inflation figures later Tuesday that are expected to show price pressures mounted in March. Spreadbetting firm IG expects the London index of blue-chip stocks to start the session down 45 points. The U.K. unemployment rate fell to 3.8% in the three months to February from 3.9% in the previous three-month period, according to the Office for National Statistics. U.S. inflation data will be released at 1230 GMT.
