SEOUL, April 17 (Reuters) - South Korea's central bank governor said on Wednesday the bank is ready to deploy measures to stabilise the dollar-won market if needed as the recent forex movement has been a little excessive, Rhee Chang-yong said in an interview with CNBC in Washington, D.C.

"I think the recent movement is a little bit excessive, so we are ready to deploy stabilisation measures if the volatility continues. And we have enough tools and resources to do so," Rhee, governor of the Bank of Korea, said. (Reporting by Cynthia Kim, Yena Park; Editing by Muralikumar Anantharaman)
