Tech Down, Giving Back Some Gains on the Week -- Tech Roundup

08/11/2022 | 04:35pm EDT

Shares of technology companies gave back some of their recent gains after a torrid run earlier in the week.

Tech stocks initially led the stock market higher in the wake of inflation data.

Producer prices fell from levels a month earlier, corroborating signs of a peak in inflation in consumer-price data.

Matterport, a maker of 3-D camera equipment, said supply-chain blockages thwarted component imports from Asia, weighing on quarterly sales.

Malaysian e-commerce concern Treasure Global more than quadrupled on their U.S. stock-market debut.
