Shares of Tesla tested all-time highs above $500, even after product-quality monitor Consumer Reports raised concerns about the reliability of its electric cars, citing common problems with paintwork and closing the rear hatch on one model.

Shares of Tesla rival Nio rallied after analysts at brokerage Deutsche Bank reiterated their positive rating on the Shanghai company's stock and boosted their price target in the wake of its earnings report earlier this week.

Miami-based Retail Ecommerce Ventures, led by two entrepreneurs who have collected tarnished retail brands during the coronavirus pandemic, are taking over the reins of RadioShack, acquiring the nearly century-old gadget seller's brands and online business, as reported earlier.
