Cornish Metals Inc - Vancouver, Canada-based mineral exploration and development firm focused on the UK and North America - Updates its JORC mineral resource estimate for the South Crofty tin project in Cornwall, England. Says the focus of this new MRE is the lower mine area tin-only section of the project. The site has been subject to a thorough review, including further digitisation and modelling of historical data, though the upper mine polymetallic area has also been reported using current metal prices.

The mineral resource estimate is for 43.6 kilotons of contained tin indicated at South Crofty, up 32% from 2021.

Chief Executive Officer Richard Williams says: "This is another positive development for South Crofty as we advance the project through to delivery of a feasibility study by the end of 2024 and continue to demonstrate the potential to increase the project's mineral resource and mine life. The updated MRE will be incorporated into the FS mine plan scheduled for release before the end of 2024."
