ASX expressed concern that a Mineral Resource may have been implied by the following statements:
a) 18.07.2013 June Quarterly Update: Slide 18 - references to non-JORC Resources for the Foumbiri and Doubema Exploration Targets.
b) 30.08.2013 Africa Down Under Presentation and 23.09.13 September Investor Update 2013: Slide
19 - 22 references to Exploration Target volume expressed as cubic metres.
c) 30.08.2013 Africa Down Under Presentation and 23.09.13 September Update 2013: Slides 20-22 -
reference to Exploration Targets not in ranges.
d) 30.08.2013 Africa Down Under presentation and 23.09.13 September Update 2013: Slides 23 and
24 - reference to potential initial Mineral Resource and potential Exploration Target.
e) 30.08.2013 Napelapera Results August 2013: reference to Exploration Target not expressed as a range.
It was never the Company's intention to imply a JORC (2004) compliant Mineral Resource and accordingly the Company retracts those statements. At the Napelapera Prospect the ranges for the Exploration Target are presented in the below table:
