Press-releases PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increases its wagon fleet in 2.5 times Kryvyi Rih, September 28, 2018. PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has put into operation 450 new open wagons (hereinafter - wagons) which have been got in the frames of financial leasing contract. Earlier, in the beginning of this year, the plant got 50 new wagons. Hence, this year the company has commissioned 500 wagons to transport its products and deliver raw materials.

As a result, own fleet of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (can be operated in Ukrzaliznytsya's network) has increased in 2.5 times, that will enable the company to perform 10-15% of its transportation with own assets independently on the situation on railway transportation market and availability of wagons. This will help the company to reduce its costs linked with inbound and outbound transportations, as well as explore new directions for transportation of rolled products and iron ore concentrate for export.

All new wagons for the company have been manufactured at PJSC Dneprovagonmash that is one of the partners in signed financial leasing contract.

The rolling stock of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is intended for transportation of rolled products and iron ore raw materials as well as for delivery of raw materials to the company. Main logistic directions are transportation of sinter ore from Shmakovo station (Pridneprovskaya railway), transportation of rolled products to the stations of Odesskaya railway as well as transportation of incoming raw materials - limestone, coal, coke, and coke breeze backward. Apart from open wagons, the company also uses dump cars, flat wagons, cisterns, pellets hopper cars, coke hopper cars, cement cars.
