(Alliance News) - Artemis Resources Ltd on Thursday celebrated progress at the Osborne JV tenement, its joint venture held with GreenTech Metals Ltd.

Artemis Resources is a Western Australia-focused gold, copper and lithium exploration company, as is GreenTech Metals. The firms hold a 49% and 51% interest respectively in the Osborne tenement, which is located in West Pilbara, Australia.

Noting an update from GreenTech Metals, Artemis told investors that diamond drilling has completed at the project.

The programme, which saw a total of four holes drilled for 1,611 metres, was designed to test stratigraphy and structure. Drilling targeted known spodumene-bearing pegmatites, and samples have now been dispatched for mineralogical analysis and assay.

"The information gathered will prove invaluable for the next phase of ground activity. This now sets the scene for further exploration and potential drilling in the first quarter of 2024," said Executive Director George Ventouras.

"Artemis will also look to continue ground exploration activities in early 2024 on its 100% owned tenements with a view to determine the prospectivity for pegmatites and to expand the potential for further lithium mineralisation in the Karratha precinct."

Artemis Resources shares were trading 0.4% higher at 1.13 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
