February 2021 Operating Results
The Company released data today on results for February 2021. For details on total logistics amounts of the B-to-C business, non-consolidated net sales, and year-on-year growth in sales per customer and the number of customers of the B-to-B business, see the Supplementary Information.
Net sales
Non-consolidated net sales for February this year (from January 21, 2021 to February 20, 2021) were affected by the state of emergency in addition to the pullback from the rush demand of sanitary items in the previous fiscal year, but both of B-to-B and LOHACO business performed favorably compared with the budget.
The total logistics amounts of the B-to-C business for February increased 4.0% on a year-on-year basis.
Non-consolidated net sales for February declined 2.1% year-on-year. Non-consolidated net sales of the mainstay B-to-B business declined 2.6%. The number of business days was one day less than in February 2020, and Saturday was one day more. If these differences were adjusted, the growth of B-to-B non-consolidated sales for February 2021 is estimated to be down 0.2% on a year-on-year basis.
Non-consolidated net sales of LOHACO grew 1.0%.
