Nidec Americas Holding Corporation and Nidec Europe B.V. entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire Secop GmbH from AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (XTRA:AR4) for approximately €190 million on April 25, 2017. The transaction will be financed with debt. Secop GmbH recorded sales of €356.6 million for the year ending December 31, 2016. The transaction is subject to the approval of the competent antitrust authorities. The deal was approved by the Board of Nidec Corporation. The deal is to be completed at the end of June 2017.
