Bancolombia S.A. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2021. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net interest income was COP 3,304,672 million compared to COP 2,290,063 million a year ago. Net income was COP 1,444,744 million compared to net loss of COP 266,232 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was COP 1,502.08 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of COP 276.8 a year ago.
For the full year, net interest income was COP 11,892,268 million compared to COP 10,839,859 million a year ago. Net income was COP 4,086,795 million compared to COP 275,994 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was COP 4,248.99 compared to COP 286.95 a year ago.
