BEZEQ THE ISRAEL TELECOMMUNICATION CORP. LTD Re: Supplementary Immediate Report - Decision regarding a hearing to amend the arrangement for sharing of passive infrastructures
Further to the Company's immediate report of October 5, 2021 concerning the hearing for the amendment of the arrangement for sharing of passive infrastructures, and further to the description of the subject in an update to Section 2.16.12 to the Description of the Corporation's Operations chapter in the Company's quarterly report for the period ended September 30, 2021, an immediate report is hereby provided.
On February 6, 2022 the Ministry of Communications made a decision concerning the hearing whereby holders of special broadband infrastructure licenses(in addition to holders of general licenses) will be allowed to use the passive infrastructures of general domestic operators (including the Company's), in incentive areas. A service portfolio regarding the use of the passive infrastructures of a general domestic operator was appended to the decision, and a recommendation was issued to the Ministry of Communications to amend accordingly the Communications Regulations (Bezeq and Broadcasting) (Use of Public Telecommunications Network of a Domestic Operator) 2014.
