Portfolio perfectly complemented by cooperation

Augsburg-based BÖWE SYSTEC GmbH and TRITEK TECHNOLOGIES, INC. of Wilmington, Delaware, USA are to collaborate in the field of sorting systems. Thanks to this arrangement, BÖWE SYSTEC can add two new sorting products to its portfolio: The Simex Compact, an affordable and highly efficient sorting system with a small footprint for low- volume users and customers with space constraints, and the Simex Flexi, a highly configurable modular mixed mail sorter capable of processing letters and flats up to 19 mm thick using a wide range of sorting criteria.

TRITEK is one of the most respected US innovators in the field of mailroom technology. The company has launched a range of patented, tried-and-tested solutions for the automation of mailroom processes and document imaging since 1988, thus significantly enhancing productivity and efficiency in every mailroom. The TRITEK product range includes various sorting systems for letter and mixed mail processing which are equipped with proprietary OCR reading technology to satisfy the most stringent requirements as well as individual software solutions. Solutions for the entire mail spectrum
The partnership between TRITEK and BÖWE SYSTEC began in mid-
2013 and became official with the signing of a cooperation agreement. "As part of the cooperation agreement with TRITEK we are expanding
our product portfolio in the sorting area and can now offer our customers automated high-performance solutions covering the entire mail spectrum, from postcards to packages," explained Paul Todd, Business Development Director - Mail Sortation UK & Europe with BÖWE SYSTEC. "The Simex Compact and Simex Flexi sorting systems produced by TRITEK enable BÖWE SYSTEC to provide highly attractive sorting solutions for specific market sectors. They perfectly complement the
areas covered by our proven systems, Simex Letter, Simex Multi and
Simex Packet."
Modular sorting systems for letter and flat formats
The Simex Compact is a high-speed sorting system with a small footprint that can handle both letter and flat formats. Thanks to its modular design, it can be extended and adapted to meet changing customer requirements. Even poly items can be easily processed. The Simex Flexi mixed mail sorter, which is also modular in design, can process up to
30,000 mailpieces an hour in letter format or up to 15,000 mailpieces an hour in flat format - each with a maximum thickness of 19 mm and up to C3 in size. Even newspapers or magazines are processed reliably with this flexible system.
