Boyd Gaming : ‘Honky Tonk Man’ Dwight Yoakam Returns to IP July 14

BILOXI, Miss.-Country music legend Dwight Yoakam will bring his top hits to Studio A at IP CASINO RESORT SPA on Friday, July 14.
Best known for his remake of the Johnny Horton song 'Honky Tonk Man' and his hit single 'Guitars, Cadillacs,' Yoakam's rose to fame in the 1980s with his unique brand of honky-tonk country music. In his more than 30-year career, Yoakam has released three country Top 40 singles and achieved three consecutive No. 1 Billboard Country albums. The country singer's 'Honky Tonk Man' music video also became the first country music video to ever play on MTV. To date, Yoakam has 12 Gold albums and nine Platinum or multi-Platinum albums, including the triple-Platinum album 'This Time.' Additionally, Yoakam has won several Grammy and Academy of Country Music Awards throughout his career.
Aside from working on his music, Yoakam has also starred in several films, including 'Sling Blade,' 'Panic Room,' 'Bendidas' and more. Yoakam has also made recurring appearances in the television shows 'Wilfred' and 'Under the Dome.'
Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to the show. Tickets start at $45 plus tax and convenience fees. Tickets are available online at www.ticketmaster.com.
