Burckhardt Compression announces appointment to Executive Board

Burckhardt Compression has appointed 43-year-old Rainer Dübi the new Head of Design & Manufacturing. Rainer Dübi is currently a senior sales manager for compressor systems at Burckhardt Compression and will assume his new function on December 1, 2012.
Rainer Dübi (43), a Swiss national, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and subsequently earned a post-graduate MASBA degree (Master Degree in Advanced Studies of Business Administration). He joined Burckhardt Compression in 2003 and has management-level experience in the areas of reciprocating compressor design, calculation and development as well as in onsite installation and commissioning. With this background and the know-how gained through his current position as senior sales manager for compressor systems, Rainer Dübi is ideally qualified to lead Burckhardt Compression's efforts in the development, design and manufacture of reciprocating compressors that are well aligned with market needs.
Marcel Pawlicek, CEO of Burckhardt Compression, will continue to manage the Design & Manufacturing department ad interim until Rainer Dübi assumes his new position on December 1, 2012.
