Yo-Kai Express Inc., a Silicon Valley-based maker of a machine that creates hot ramen noodles on demand, has teamed with TableMark, a frozen food manufacturer from Japan, and Chikaranomoto Holdings Co. Ltd., owner of the ramen noodle restaurant chain Ippudo, to develop udon and ramen menu options for Yo-Kai's autonomous restaurant platform, according to a press release.

Yokai Express plans to introduce Ippudo's Hakata Udon and Soba noodle dishes in the fall, alongside existing Ippudo's Hakata-style ramen noodles and plant-based Tonkotsu-style ramen options launched last April.

Yokai Express will install its ramen vending machine to the offices of Mitsubishi Logistics Corp., NTT Data's Mitaka Data Center, Softbank Robotics' distribution center and Eneos Corp.
