Namibia is an important mineral resource in Africa, and Hushan Uranium Mine is the largest uranium mine in the world by far, with an annual mining and stripping volume of 140 million tons and a uranium resource of about 293,000 tons, ranking third in the world. It was officially put into production at the end of December 2016. Meanwhile, Hushan Uranium Mine, as a key project of the 'Belt and Road' Initiative, is currently China's largest single industrial investment project in Africa; it will significantly enhance the international competitiveness of Namibia's mining industry when it reaches production capacity. Therefore, it has become a landmark project for China-Africa cooperation.

During the special period when the epidemic is spreading around the globe, the Company has actively integrated into the domestic and international dual-circulation paradigm, adhered to the high-goal orientation, strengthened the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industrial chains of central enterprises, and actively expanded the industrial and value chains of civil explosives. It has accelerated its pace to become stronger, better, and bigger, in a bid to build a world-class civil explosive brand. In the one-year project tendering and bidding work, the Company overcame the difficulty of time difference, innovated the working method, creatively adopted the whole-process online negotiation method, and maintained seamless connection with the project employer around the clock. Finally, it successfully won the bid in the open bidding with the best price, the highest standard, and the best service, relying on its excellent performance and outstanding technical solutions.

China Gezhouba Group Explosive Co., Ltd., which is responsible for operation of the civil blasting business of Gezhouba Group, is a large-scale civil blasting enterprise integrating the complete industrial chain of scientific research, production, sales and blasting services in China. It is also the largest blasting company in China at present, which boasts the first-class qualification of 'general contracting of mine engineering construction' and 'commercial blasting operation unit'. The successful signing of the Project is the first cooperation between the Company and CGN in the overseas market based on the leading technology and construction capacity in the field of blasting, which provides effective support for the stable and sustainable development of the 'Belt and Road' Initiative.
The Project will become effective upon signing, and the preparations for the on-site commencement are progressing in an orderly manner. Taking the opportunity of the project signing, the Company will continue to give full play to its professional advantages, build model projects, expand the integrated service capacity of the whole industrial chain, and make greater contributions to building CEEC into a leading and world-class enterprise in the construction industry.
