CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Consol Coal Resources LP (CCR) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $5.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Canonsburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents per share.

The coal minining limited partnership posted revenue of $49.3 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $2.84. A year ago, they were trading at $12.13.
