VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ CRH Medical Corp. (CRHM) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $19.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 27 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 3 cents per share.

The gastrointestinal diseases treatment developer posted revenue of $36.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $24.5 million, or 34 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $106.2 million.

The company's shares closed at $3.89. A year ago, they were trading at $1.58.
