DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended July 31, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 3,274.842 million compared to USD 2,713.372 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 663.553 million compared to USD 391.357 million a year ago. Net income was USD 495.509 million compared to USD 276.843 million a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 6,193.561 million compared to USD 4,046.600 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 1,139.362 million compared to USD 205.184 million a year ago. Net income was USD 857.265 million compared to USD 133.421 million a year ago.
DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is a full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer. The Company serves athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in more than 850 DICKâS Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Public Lands, Moosejaw, Going Going Gone! and Warehouse Sale stores, online, and through the DICKâS mobile app. The Company also owns and operates DICK'S House of Sport and Golf Galaxy Performance Center, as well as GameChanger, a youth sports mobile app for scheduling, communications, live scorekeeping and video streaming.
