Good today, better tomorrow. That's our promise - for both non-prime consumers AND Elevate team members. I'll start by acknowledging the old saying 'Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.' We can always raise the bar a little higher, but today I'd like to speak to our improvements in the workplace after the past few years.

Last Friday, we announced that Elevate was named a Best Workplace in Texas for 2021. This award is based on an analysis of survey responses from our employees compared against 73,000 employees in Texas. In that survey, 92% of Elevate's employees said it is a great place to work compared to 59% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Elevate is only as strong as our employees, so we strive to retain and attract the very best.

Employee engagement is a journey - not a destination. It is something that we must always keep our eye on. Each year we carefully analyze engagement survey feedback from our employees and identify the key areas where we want to improve. We do this at a company-wide level, department level and individual team level. This brings transparency and accountability to the process of working on our areas of opportunity.

Over the last year, we made great strides forward even with the switch to a virtual workplace and obstacles from the pandemic. We implemented the Culture Team to champion employee engagement, expanded employee resource groups, appointed a Chief Diversity Officer, and connected with employees at more frequent intervals than ever before. As a result of survey feedback, we now have new virtual recognition tools, stronger collaboration between teams and have recently rolled out some exciting improvements to our promotion process.

In a year where our nation was at a crossroads on important issues of race, diversity and equity, I am glad to say Elevate listened and responded in a compassionate way through our actions inside our company and through partnership with our community as well as financial donations. I was able to participate in countless listening sessions, cultural meetings, and employee lead initiatives. Joining employee resource group meetings where employees take the lead, and I listen and learn , are particularly inspiring to me and speak to our culture.

All of this was possible due to the hard work of our employees and continual focus on a 'better tomorrow.' I'm proud of where we are at as an organization but even more excited for where we are heading in the next 3-5 years.
