Elsight has progressed discussions with existing and potential new partners following a successful week at MiliPol 2017 in Paris. At the event, Elsight showcased its dedicated solutions providing high-quality, high-speed, real-time video transmission from the field for broadcasting, health and rescue organisations, and the military at MiliPol. Elsight presented solutions for a number of vertical industries during the conference: Advanced video transmission from unmanned aerial vehicles, enabling the transmission of professional HD broadcast directly to control centers anywhere in the world; A medical rescue kit that includes a high quality camera delivering real-time medical data. The camera will allow doctors to observe from a distance the wounded or sick on the ground and instruct paramedics in real time; A solution for broadcasters and television channels that enables the transmission of HD quality live broadcasts that meet the most stringent requirements of the television networks at very low cost and with optimal operation. All of Elsight's new solutions deliver video broadcasts over cellular infrastructure without requiring additional local infrastructure deployments or costly Digital Satellite News Gathering gear. Elsight technology represents a high level of reliability, low latency, and a maximum adaptive bandwidth for transmission over cellular networks enabling the transmission of HD or up to 4K television broadcasts. Of particular interest during and since the conference was the potential for Elsight technology to disrupt the lucrative global industry for mobile broadcasting. The well-received unveiling of its new broadcasting solutions coincides with the appointment of Zvi Hauser, broadcasting industry veteran and former Israeli Cabinet Secretary.
