VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Endeavour Silver Corp. (EXK) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $11.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 1 cent per share.

The silver mining company posted revenue of $30.8 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $36 million.
