Performance in this quarter exceeded the (pre-Covid-19) same period of last year, and we recorded our best figures ever.
Income was improved by the large drop in SG&A expenses created by the shift to online seminars, remote support, and remote work. As a result, operating income was up 15.6% from the same period in the preceding year, ordinary income up 14.0%, and net income up 18.4%.
Sales were up, buoyed by an expanded range of digital transformation consulting options aimed at helping clients thrive in the post-Covid "new normal."
Operating income increased significantly, driven by our switch to online delivery of solutions, including online seminars and consulting services provided via web-based conferencing systems.
