NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual general meeting (the "AGM") of SCMP Group Limited (the "Company") will be held on Monday, 6 June 2016. For determining the eligibility to attend and vote at the AGM, the register of members of the Company will be closed from Thursday, 2 June 2016 to Monday, 6 June 2016, both days inclusive, during which period no transfer of shares will be effected. All transfers of shares accompanied by the relevant share certificates must be lodged with the Company's Hong Kong Branch Share Registrars, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited of Shops 1712-1716, 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong for registration not later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 1 June 2016 so as to qualify for attending and voting at the AGM.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that on 14 March 2016, the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") recommended the payment of a final dividend of HK1.5 cents per share which is subject to shareholders' approval at the AGM. For determining the entitlement to the proposed final dividend, the register of members of the Company will be closed from Tuesday, 14 June 2016 to Thursday, 16 June 2016, both days inclusive, during which period no transfer of shares will be effected. All transfers of shares accompanied by the relevant share certificates must be lodged with the Company's Hong Kong Branch Share Registrars, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited of Shops 1712-1716, 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong for registration not later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 13 June 2016 so as to qualify for the proposed final dividend. The proposed final dividend, if approved, will be paid on Wednesday, 29 June 2016 to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the Company on Thursday, 16 June 2016.
