Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited announced unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 5,999.7 million against INR 5,421.3 million a year ago. Total income was INR 6,293.1 million against INR 5,453.3 million a year ago. Loss for the period was INR 4,746.8 million against income of INR 329.9 million a year ago. Basic and diluted LPS was INR 43.21 against basic and diluted EPS of INR 3.00 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 17,470.6 million against INR 19,342.9 million a year ago. Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited is an India-based chemical company. The Company's business segment is chemicals, which comprises of bulk chemicals, fluorochemicals and fluoropolymer. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of refrigerant gases, caustic soda, chloromethane, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluoropolymers, fluoromonomers, specialty fluorointermediates, speciality chemicals, mining and sale of fluorspar and allied activities. The Company caters to both domestic and international markets. Its chemical products include caustic soda, carbon tetrachloride, chlorine, methylene di chloride, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrogen sulphate, hydrogen gas, fluorspar and anhydrous hydrogen chloride. Its fluoropolymers products include polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), fluorine kautschuk material (FKM), perfluoroaloxy alkanes (PFA), micro powder fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) and PPA. The Company's refrigerants products include R22, R32, R407C and R410A.
