Growth in business 

Heurtey Petrochem recorded revenue of €437m* for financial year 2014, representing organic growth of 9% (11% at constant exchange rates).

The furnaces segment accounted for 80% of business (38% for petrochemicals, 25% for refining and 17% for hydrogen) and the gas segment 20%.

44% of revenue was generated in the Americas, 32% in Europe/Russia, 19% in Asia/Oceania and 5% in the Middle East/Africa.

Solid order backlog 

The order backlog stood at €507m on 31 December 2014, down 7% from its all-time high of €543m on 31 December 2013, and stable relative to 30 June 2014.

The breakdown of the order backlog by business area reflects the increasing importance of the gas segment, which accounts for 45% of the backlog, compared with 21% one year previously. The furnaces segment, representing 55% of the order backlog, breaks down into 28% petrochemicals, 24% refining and 3% hydrogen.

The Americas account for nearly two-thirds (64%) of the order backlog, split roughly evenly between North America and South America. The rest of the order backlog comes from the Middle East/Africa (16%), Europe/Russia (11%) and Asia/Oceania (9%).
