Indus Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Limited (The Company) was incorporated in Pakistan as an public limited company on 23rd July 1957 under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (The Ordinance) [Now Companies Act, 2017] and its shares are quoted on Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX).
The Company is principally engaged in trade, manufacturing and sale of yarn.

Indus Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Limited is a Pakistan-based holding company. The principal activity of the Company is manufacturing and sale of yarn. The Company offers a range of products, which include Cotton Grinning and Yarns. The Company's yarns include regular carded and combed yarns, siro (chain) yarns, melange, core-spun yarns, slub, zero twist, bamboo/cotton blends and compact. The manufacturing facilities of the Company are located in Karachi, Hyderabad and Muzaffargarh. The Company's subsidiaries include Indus Lyallpur Limited (ILL), which is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of yarn; Indus Home Limited (IHL), which manufactures and exports the greige and finished terry cloth, and other textile products, and Indus Wind Energy Limited (IWEL), which is engaged in generating and sale of electricity to national grid. It also acts as commission agent to generate sales orders in the textile sector, through Indus Home USA Inc.
