The event is timed to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It also became the final stage of the motor rally for personnel and equipment of the energy companies, which started on 30 April in all 20 regions of the Companies' presence.

The action involved 200 vehicles of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. The total length of the rally «Power engineers - to Great Victory» was more than 6,000 kilometres. Its participants visited and landscaped over 170 memorial sites and burials of the heroes of 1941-1945.

On the territory of the Memorial to Heroes-Power Engineers in Tula, General Director of the energy companies, heads of the executive office and branches of the Companies summed up the results of the rally, honoured the memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.

«Victory Day is dear to every Russian family, to every person. Our sacred duty is to protect and preserve the memory of those great days, of the valiant past of our Motherland and of the heroes who defeated fascism. The rally 'Power engineers - to Great Victory' is little that we can do today so that the glory of the feat of Soviet soldiers will continue to be passed on from generation to generation! The action should become an annual event and unite even more employees of our company,» stressed Igor Makovskiy, Head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
