Kirill Komarov, First Deputy Director General - Director of the Development and International Business Unit of Rosatom Corporation, and Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, held a working meeting in Moscow.

During his visit to the Main Analytical Centre of the Companies, Igor Makovskiy demonstrated to Kirill Komarov the possibilities of a new model of operational and technological management of the energy companies. It is based on the domestic platform CK-11, which allows online monitoring and management of the power grid complex in 20 regions of the country.

The system is used in high-tech Grid Control Centres and city dispatch centres being created at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. Since 2019, 16 such facilities have been opened in the service area of the energy companies. This includes the interregional Grid Control Centre in Kursk, which is unique for the Russian energy sector.

In addition, Kirill Komarov was presented with the first results of the application of energy storage systems at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. The company implemented two pilot projects in 2019 in the Belgorod and Vladimir regions. By the end of the first quarter of 2021, 28 innovative storage units will be installed in the territory of the Companies' presence. As General Director of the energy companies Igor Makovskiy emphasized, the new systems in practice demonstrated the capability to effectively solve a number of tasks: improving the quality of electricity and the reliability of power supply, primarily of socially significant facilities, and in the future they will provide autonomous power supply to consumers in separate problem sections of lines.

At the end of the meeting, First Deputy Director General of Rosatom State Corporation thanked the power engineers for demonstrating the capabilities of the operational and technological complex of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, highly appreciating the level of equipment of the Companies with advanced technologies and solutions.
