Berlin, 18th March 2024 | Inspiring expert lectures, top-class keynotes, lively user groups - the IVU User Forum took place in Berlin on the 14th and 15th March 2024. Over 1,000 visitors from all over the world attended IVU's annual industry get-together, setting a new participation record.
IVU Traffic Technologies hosted its 36th annual User Forum where numerous national and international guests took the opportunity to find out about the latest developments at IVU and exchange ideas with other users. Similarly to last year, the User Forum 2024 took place live in the heart of Berlin at the Deutsche Telekom Representative Office.
Once again, the User Forum offered a diverse programme, featuring a number of notable guest speakers. Bruno Stehrenberger, Director of Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe, Niko Warbanoff, CEO of DB E.C.O. Group and DB International Operations, Frank Niggemeier-Oliva, Managing Director of Bahnen der Stadt Monheim GmbH and Frank Gäfgen, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Münster all presented fascinating keynote speeches, sharing their best practices and solutions for current challenges in public transport.
The programme was complimented by various user group sessions, specialist workshops, and an accompanying exhibition. To round off the first day in true fashion, IVU invited its customers to a special evening event at the Metropol, a renowned former theatre and club in the west of Berlin. The highlight of the evening was a performance by the house band IVU.groove.
"Our User Forum is an annual highlight for all IVU employees and for me personally - we are thrilled that this mutual exchange is also valued by our customers," states Martin Müller-Elschner, CEO of IVU Traffic Technologies. "Several guests have already put next year's date in their diaries, and we too are already looking forward to it."
IVU Traffic Technologies has been working for over 45 years with more than 1,000 experts to ensure efficient and environmentally friendly public transport.
