The Board of Directors of Kahoot! AS (Kahoot or the company) has appointed Eilert Hanoa as CEO of Kahoot! with effect from December 1, 2019.

Hanoa has been the Chairman of the Board since 2015, and he will resign from the Board when becoming CEO. Further, the Board of Directors has appointed Harald Arnet as Chairman of the Board with effect from the same date. Arnet is a board member of the Company and representing the large shareholder, Datum Group.

Current CEO and co-founder Åsmund Furuseth will continue in the company in the role as Chief Product Officer (CPO). The Chairman of the Board, Eilert Hanoa, has been working closely with Åsmund Furuseth since he was appointed CEO in March 2018. Kahoot!

has now completed its first commercial phase, and as the next strategic phase starts, Furuseth will be responsible for the further development of Kahoot!'s product and commercial offerings.
