The Colocation Supplier of the Year award recognises organisations delivering colocation services to end users across EMEA. Winners are voted for by the readers of Data Centre Solutions, Digitalisation World, members of the Data Centre Alliance and peers and clients within the industry.

Key differentiators outlined in the Telehouse award entry include all data centres being powered by 100% renewable energy, the strategic locations of data centres, and the company's commitment to customer experience. The fact that the Telehouse London Docklands campus is Europe's most connected data centre campus in Europe was also key.

Supported by the Data Centre Alliance, the DCS Awards is an established event in the data centre industry, rewarding the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers operating in the data centre arena. This year's ceremony took place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge.

The result is a testament to the work the Telehouse team put in throughout the pandemic. While other operators were forced to scale back their operations, Telehouse tackled the adversity created by Covid-19 to continue providing its usual service excellence to customers, with a record number of interconnections delivered between April 2020 and April 2021. The business was also able to handle a 30% increase in service request volumes during peaks in demand.
