Kinden Corporation (TSE:1944) entered into an agreement to acquire Fujikura Engineering Ltd. from Fujikura Ltd. (TSE:5803) on June 2, 2021. Under the transaction, Kinden Corporation will acquire 0.002 million shares of Fujikura Engineering Ltd. from Fujikura Ltd. Post transaction, Fujikura Ltd. will not have any stake in Fujikura Engineering Ltd. and Fujikura Engineering Ltd. will ceased to be a subsidiary of Fujikura Ltd. Transaction is scheduled to complete on July 30, 2021.

The Company is also engaged in water supply and drainage sanitary work, interior equipment work, civil engineering work, and other related businesses. It is also engaged in leasing and sales of vehicles, various non-life insurance agencies, maintenance and leasing of real estate, sales and engineering of information communication system equipment, wind power generation business, transportation of concrete utility poles, construction and maintenance management of firefighting equipment construction.
