Having launched its operations in January 2013, delivering air and sea freight forwarding services to customers composed mainly of automobile parts- and electronics components-related companies, KWE Mexico has recently achieved a platform to provide logistics services as well.
In the initial stage of its logistics service provision, KWE Mexico will start such services in the form of outsourcing to a local company (SBLogistics S.A. de C.V. [SBL]) in an effort to meet customer needs swiftly. SBL has warehouses equipped with a leading-edge security system in six cities Tijuana,Monterrey,Guadalajara,Irapuato,Mexico City,Laredo Txas the United States, and provides high-quality logistics services such as customs bond-based VMI operation and JIT services that leverage its IMMEX (Note) service license.
Kintetsu World Express Mexico, S.A. de C.V. will support customers request and aim to expand its business in the Mexico Markets.
*IMMEX Service(Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportacion) A system under which a freight service operator delivers forwarding and warehouse storage services concerning raw materials and parts/components that are imported from abroad to Mexico tax-free on condition that they will be used for producing products in Mexico and exporting them from the country.
