PHOENIX (AP) _ Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. (KNX) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $152.8 million.

The Phoenix-based company said it had net income of 92 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 98 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 87 cents per share.

The trucking company posted revenue of $1.32 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.3 billion.

Knight-Swift expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.90 to $4.05 per share.

Knight-Swift shares have increased 15% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen nearly 6% in the last 12 months.
