LOTTOMATICA GROUP S.P.A. 2 November 2023 - Lottomatica Group announced the agreement for the acquisition of the entire share capital of SKS365 S.p.A.
"We are delighted to welcome the company to our group," said Lottomatica CEO, Guglielmo Angelozzi.
SKS365 is a omnichannel operator, and one of the major players in the Italian online and sports betting sector.
This deal means "we have added brands of great value, PlanetWin365 and PlanetPay365, which complement our portfolio well," explained Mr Angelozzi, who went on to say: "We are happy to be able to work with Alexander Martin and his team, and we will make available to them all of the support required for the next stage of growth, and take full advantage of the skills spread across the entire group".
With the purchase, Lottomatica has strengthened its leadership position in Italy with a total online market share of 28.3%, and accelerated its growth profile through an operation with a high degree of synergy.
