On July 28, LX International(CEO Yoon Chun Sung) issued the CSR Report 2022 to present the diverse corporate suitability management activities and the ESG business results of the company that had been promoted from last year to early 2022.
Since 2014, LX International has been issuing the annual CSR report. This year, the company carried out the materiality assessment based on the requirements for various ESG initiatives and an evaluation index to select the ten major issues that are of the most importance for the interested parties.
In addition to providing the company's efforts to enhance business sustainability, the more detailed descriptions of the ESG (Environment, Social Governance)-related activities to realize the environmental and social values are provided compared to last year.
Especially, the newly established special feature section highlights not only the corporate growth, but also the development and devotion regarding the new growth businesses for environmental and social sustainability.
The main contents of the special feature section includes the goals of mid-long term business portfolios regarding ▲sustainable business (farm, trading) ▲new growth engine (nickel, eco-friendliness) ▲challenges for future values (material, logistics, new growth), etc.
Moreover, the quantitative data and qualitative reports of each section of the ESG are provided to introduce the sustainable business activities and achievements of the company in detail.
CEO Yoon Chun Sung of LX International stated that the company will perform exceptional challenges based on the new core value of the company which is to prepare for a sustainable future, and ensure LX International's highly differentiated development and provision of customer value will result in continuous actions against any future changes.
From the annual issuance of the CSR report, LX International plans to perform the integrated management of the financial and non-financial business results, along with providing the transparent process of the relevant business performance.
