Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. announced unaudited consolidated and standalone earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the consolidated company reported total income was INR 1,490 million against INR 1,160 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 210 million against INR 250 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 140 million against INR 180 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were INR 2.90 against INR 4.24 a year ago.
For the quarter, the standalone company reported total income was INR 1,237.5 million against INR 1,068.4 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 149.4 million against INR 211.1 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 106.6 million against INR 153.0 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were INR 2.24 against INR 3.72 a year ago.
