In view of spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the Globe and in
Pursuant to these measures, in the first phase, all local and foreign travels as well as gathering of employees for meetings and other sessions were curtailed. Screening tests were conducted for the employees and their families. Several awareness sessions regarding Coronavirus covering topics such as origin and spread of the virus as well as preventive measures were conducted for management and non-management staff at MPCL heads office as well as all field locations.
NO employee of MPCL has been tested positive for COVID-19, so far.
In the second phase, on Monday (16-03-2020) the Company operated with a nucleus staff (most essential 15-20%), while the remaining staff worked from home, 30% of the non-management employees (non-essential) were also sent for two weeks mandatory leave.
