MindTree Brings in Professor Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIM-B to its Board of Directors

Bangalore, INDIA, March 20, 2012: MindTree Limited, a global IT and Product Engineering Services Company, today announced the appointment of Professor Pankaj Chandra to its Board of Directors with effect from March 19, 2012.

Professor Chandra is currently a professor of Operations & Technology Management and the Director at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. A tenured faculty at McGill University, Montreal since 1988, Professor Chandra taught at IIM-Ahmedabad since 1994 and has been at IIM-B since 1997. He received his Bachelor's degree in Technology from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and his Ph.D. degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Professor Chandra also served as chairperson of Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship, IIM-A, India from May 1999 to April 2001 and from November 2006 to December 2007.

Additionally, Professor Chandra's research and consulting have focused on manufacturing management, supply chain coordination, building technological capabilities; hi-tech entrepreneurship. He has lectured and consulted in many countries around the world. Finally, Professor Chandra's writings on production and operation management and technological innovations have been widely published.
