NAFCO Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2020. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 217,753 million against JPY 223,246 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 8,319 million against JPY 6,997 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 4,941 million against JPY 4,518 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 173.01 against JPY 157.65 a year ago.
For the six months ending September 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 116,000 million, operating profit of JPY 5,400 million, profit of JPY 3,300 million or basic earnings per share of JPY 115.53.
For the year ending March 31, 2021, the company expects net sales of JPY 218,000 million, operating profit of JPY 8,400 million, profit of JPY 5,000 million or basic earnings per share of JPY 175.05.
NAFCO Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in the operation of specialty chain stores focused on home center business. The Company offers materials, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) products, gardening materials, daily necessities, furniture and home fashion goods through its chain stores located in Kyushu, China, Kansai and Central Areas.
