ASX release NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER APPOINTED

31 October 2016 - SYDNEY

Nearmap Ltd (ASX:NEA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Watt as Chief Financial Officer, commencing in December 2016.

Mr Watt is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with over fifteen years' of management experience in the media, leisure and technology sectors both in the UK and Australia.

Prior to joining Nearmap, Mr Watt was CFO of Clarius Group (ASX:CND) where he was responsible for financial strategy, financial reporting and risk management. In previous roles he was CFO, COO and Company Secretary at Decimal Software Ltd and before that, CFO and Chief Commercial Officer at Tom Waterhouse.com.

Mr Gerhard Beukes has resigned as CFO and COO to pursue new commercial opportunities. Mr Beukes has been one of the longest serving employees at Nearmap and made an important and much appreciated contribution in helping Nearmap scale to its current size and development. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr Beukes will remain at Nearmap until January 2017.
