Neoenergia distributors (Coelba (BA), Celpe (PE) and Elektro (SP /MS)) launch, next Monday (15), the Saldão 30% campaign. The initiative aims to zero the collection of interest, correction and fine of customers who have electricity bills with more than 180 days late payment, and can reach a discount of up to 30% in the total amount of debt. The concessionaires will still allow the discharge of the cash debt or divided into up to twelve installments on the credit card. The company's intention is to contribute to the financial recovery of consumers who had difficulty in liquidity during the pandemic.

Saldão 30% will last for one month and can be used by customers of all consumption classes, and can be residential, commercial, industrial, public power or any other that has invoices more than six months late in payment. Open energy bills less than six months behind schedule do not fall under the campaign. The customer who wishes to participate in Saldão must enter the negotiation portal of the distributors and carry out the entire process, ending with the choice of the payment method. Remembering that in the option for division into 12 installments, the customer must pay the interest on the credit card.

'This is the first time that distributors have promoted this type of trading for all customers, giving up up to 30% of the amount they should receive for the delay of invoices. We decided to do this because we understand that we have a social role and can contribute to economic recovery in all classes, because we have all been affected in some way by the pandemic. There will be 30 days of intense negotiation for the largest number of customers to becontemplated', said the Superintendent of Revenue Management, Marcelo Fernandez.

The Saldão 30% campaign is another initiative of Neoenergia with the purpose of contributing to its customers during the pandemic. In the last 12 months, the company has expanded the forms of digital payment in its distributors, with possibilities of discharge via PicPay, Pix, RecargaPay and debit account, in addition to traditional bank agents. Invoices can be delivered via email to avoid contact with paper and contribute to social isolation and the environment. The service to the public was expanded or also started to be done by WhatsApp, Facebook, teleservice, on the official websites and service stores, which are following all health protocols aimed at the safety of customers and attendants.
