New Resource Bank (OTCBB:NWBN) has appointed Robert Holden senior vice president, commercial relationship manager. He is responsible for business development and relationship management within the Commercial Banking Group.

Holden has nearly 25 years' experience in the banking and finance industry, most recently as executive vice president and chief credit officer at Pan Pacific Bank in Fremont, Calif. Before that, he was senior vice president at Bay Area Development Company in Walnut Creek, Calif., where he worked to expand the firm's core business, providing owner-user commercial real estate loans for small businesses via the SBA 504 program.

?Robert is a consummate professional who will complement the bank's team and culture,? said Joseph L. Anzalone, New Resource senior vice president and Commercial Banking Group manager. ?He brings strong lending skills and specialized SBA financing experience, which will expand our lending solutions for companies and organizations committed to improving their sustainability.?

Holden has held high-level executive positions at The Private Bank of the Peninsula, Palo Alto, Calif.; Bank of Los Altos, Los Altos, Calif.; and Pacific Bank, San Francisco. He is active in the community as well, having served as treasurer of the Community Services Agency of Los Altos and Mountain View, regional commissioner for the San Carlos AYSO youth soccer program, and on other nonprofit boards.

?I've spent most of my career working with young, growing businesses, and I'm excited to be with a bank that's on the cutting edge and have the opportunity to work with businesses that are helping to transform the economy,? Holden said. ?One thing I've enjoyed in my work is really getting involved with the community and building relationships, and that's certainly a great fit with New Resource's approach and sustainability mission.?
