for electronic material gas in Asia

Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation ("NSHD", President CEO: Toshihiko Hamada) has decided to increase the B2H6 production capacity in Japan, Korea and China, and will make it almost double compared to the current capacity by the end of 2023.

１．Background

The demand for semiconductor has been increasing due to the life style change, increased data transfer and automobile. B2H6 that we manufacture is broadly used and necessary for semiconductor manufacturing incl. logic, memory and discrete, and its demand has been rapidly increasing due to the capacity expansion by semiconductor manufacturers.

We have been setting up B2H6 production in Korea and China to increase our capacity to meet the increasing requirement in addition to the singular production capacity in Japan in the past under the "Total Electronics" strategy. We are strengthening our supply capability incl. supply chain by keeping investment to meet the requirement from semiconductor manufacturer especially in Asia.
