Notice regarding sales price revision

of cryopreservation vessels and related products

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation ("TNSC", President: Kenji Nagata) hereby announces that it has decided to revise sales prices for liquid nitrogen cryopreservation vessels and related products as follows:

1. Applicable products:

  • Cryopreservation vessels, Dry Shipper Dewar (Made by Cryo One Inc.)
  • Cryopreservation vessels, Dry Shipper Dewar (Made by MVE Biological Solutions)

③ Cryogenic Liquid Dewar, Liquid nitrogen Cylinder

④ Other products

  • Some products are exempt from sales price revision.
  1. Revision period: Orders received from April 2022 onward
  2. Revision range:
  • Cryopreservation vessels, Dry Shipper Dewar (Made by Cryo One Inc.) (10%-30% or more increase over current sales prices)
  • Cryopreservation vessels, Dry Shipper Dewar (Made by MVE Biological Solutions) (20%- 60%% or more increase over current sales prices)

③ ③ Cryogenic Liquid Dewar, Liquid nitrogen Cylinder (10%-20% or more increase over current sales prices)

  • Other products (20%-50% or more increase over current sales prices)

4. Reason for revision

Prices for the various steel materials, components and utilities that comprise cryopreservation vessels and related products have significantly increased.

TNSC has strived to reduce product costs until now, as well as to ensure stable supply and quality. However, costs have risen, reaching a stage where it is not possible to absorb costs through our corporate efforts. Accordingly, we have recently asked to revise prices of cryopreservation vessels and related products.
