OKTA with a new donation to the Clinic for Infectious Diseases supports the combat against COVID-19

(Skopje, 24.12.2020) - OKTA AD - Skopje donated 3.000 serologic tests to support the combat against corona virus in the country. The donation that is intended for the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Skopje consists of 1.500 test for detection of each of the antibodies IgG and IgM for COVID-19. The tests are adequate for the equipment and the Abbott apparatus available in the Clinic.
'OKTA as a company is fully aware that the support of the business community is essential, therefore this year we focused our activities in the efforts to cope with the corona virus. Having in mind the epidemiological situation in the country, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health it was decided that at this moment there is a greatest need for donation of serologic test for the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, as a health institution that bears the largest burden since the beginning of the crisis', said Vuk Radovic, the Chief Executive Officer of OKTA.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, in several occasion OKTA has supported the public sector through various donations. In April, the company donated valuable medical equipment to the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, while in October it has supported the educational process in Ilinden Municipality with a donation of laptops and protective masks for the elementary schools.
