Portobello America anuncia o início das operações da nova fábrica nos Estados

Unidos

Tijucas, SC, 08 de agosto de 2023 - O Portobello Grupo (PBG S.A ou "Companhia") (B3: PTBL3), nos termos da Resolução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM) nº 44/2021 e em continuidade ao Comunicado ao Mercado de 31 de março de 2022, comunica aos seus acionistas e ao público em geral que iniciou a produção na nova fábrica da Portobello America em

julho de 2023.

"O mercado de cerâmica nos Estados Unidos é um dos maiores e mais atrativos do mundo e é fundamental para nossa estratégia de expansão internacional. Esse é um momento marcante para a história do Grupo que, desde 1991, tem atuação, ainda somente com distribuição, no território norte-americano. Com a Portobello America, passamos a contar com três unidades produtivas: duas no Brasil e uma no exterior", ressalta Cesar Gomes Junior, Chairman do Portobello Grupo.

Este é um avanço na estratégia de internacionalização e consolidação da Companhia no mercado norte-americano. O novo parque fabril terá capacidade de produção anual de 3,6 milhões de m² nesta primeira etapa e conta com área construída de 90 mil m², desenvolvido com alta tecnologia, com processos e maquinários de ponta, na região que é hoje considerada o polo norte-americano de fabricação de revestimentos cerâmicos.

Portobello America announces the start of operations of the new factory in the

United States

Tijucas, SC, August 08th, 2023 - Portobello Group (PBG S.A or "Company") (B3: PTBL3), pursuant to the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission ("CVM") Resolution No. 44 of August 23rd, 2021, and in continuity with the Notice to the Market of March 31, 2022, hereby informs its shareholders and the public in general that operations at the new Portobello America factory began in July 2023.

"The ceramics market in the United States is one of the largest and most attractive in the world and is key to our international expansion strategy. This is a landmark moment in the history of the Group which since 1991 has been operating in the North American territory. With Portobello America, we now have three production units: two in Brazil and one abroad", emphasizes Cesar Gomes Junior, Chairman of the Portobello Group.

This is an advancement in the Company's strategy of internationalization and consolidation in the North American market. The new industrial park will have an annual production capacity of 3.6 million m² in this first stage and has a built area 90 thousand m², developed with high technology, with the latest processes and machinery, in the region that is today considered the North American center for the manufacture of ceramic tiles.

The Company will keep its shareholders and the public in general duly informed about any new fact related to this announcement.
